Terms of service
These terms of service apply to Unmuter: the website, the app and the WordPress plugin. They cover the free answers, plans and payment, who owns what, and who is liable for what.

1 Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms apply to Unmuter: the website unmuter.ai, the app and the WordPress plugin. Unmuter is made by The Journey Collective LTD, a company registered in Israel, at HaNofar 2, Ra’anana, Israel (“we”, “us”).
The agreement between us and the company that signs up (“you”, “the customer”) consists of your order or chosen plan, these terms, and our Data Processing Agreement, which we send with your order and before your free answers start. If they conflict, what we agreed with you in writing comes first, such as your order, then the Data Processing Agreement, then these terms.
Words we use:
- Experts
- the people you invite to answer questions.
- Users
- the people in your company with an account, for example marketing.
- Input
- what you and your experts give us: questions, voice notes, videos, existing videos and blogs you import, photos, names, phone numbers and email addresses.
- Drafts
- what Unmuter makes from the input.
- Published content
- drafts you approved and published.
2 Business use only
Unmuter is only for businesses, not for consumers. By signing up you confirm that you act for a company or as a professional, and that you may bind that company.
3 What Unmuter does
- Each week Max, our AI interviewer, asks each expert one question on WhatsApp, or with a link they can open from Teams, Slack or email. The expert answers with a voice note, or with a video if they like.
- From every answer, AI agents write a draft blog for your website in the expert’s own words: with literal quotes, a clip from the recording for every quote, and the full transcript. Every quote is checked against the recording.
- After you approve, Unmuter publishes the blog on your website through our WordPress plugin.
- You can import existing videos and blogs from your own website, YouTube or Vimeo, by sharing a link, and use them as answers.
We keep improving Unmuter and features may change. If we remove a feature that is a main part of your plan, we tell you at least 60 days in advance and you may end the plan.
4 You approve, you publish
Nothing is published until one of your users approves it. By approving, you confirm that you checked the draft and that you take responsibility for publishing it, just as with content you write yourself. You can edit, schedule or withdraw content. Experts never need an Unmuter login.
5 Free answers
Your first three answers are free. You invite up to three experts, Max asks each of them one question, and you get a blog from each answer to approve and publish. No credit card, no obligation to continue. If you do not continue, you keep the three answers and everything made from them, and you may publish them. We delete the trial data from Unmuter 12 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to keep it longer.
6 Plans, prices and payment
- After the free answers you choose a plan. Every plan is an annual plan of 12 months, billed monthly. The plan depends on how many experts take part; the plans and prices are shown on our website. All prices exclude VAT. There is no start-up fee.
- Every answer becomes one blog. No plan has a limit on the number of blogs: Max asks each expert one question a week, and an expert may answer more questions whenever they like.
- You can move up to a larger plan at any time; the new price applies from the next month. You can move down to a smaller plan as of the end of a contract year.
- For more than six experts we agree the price with you in writing.
- Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date. If an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after that, we send a reminder. If it is still unpaid 14 days after the reminder, we may suspend the service: nothing goes live, and nothing is deleted.
- We may change prices for a new contract year. We tell you at least 60 days in advance, and the new price applies only from the renewal.
7 Term and ending
- The annual plan runs for 12 months from the first day of your first paid month, and then renews automatically for another year, unless you cancel at least one month before the end.
- Either of us may end the agreement straight away if the other seriously breaks it and does not fix this within the reasonable period set in a written notice, or goes bankrupt.
- When the agreement ends, you can export your drafts and published content for 30 days, including the clips and transcripts. Then we delete your input and drafts as described in our Data Processing Agreement. Blogs you published stay on your website. Clips we host for you stop playing once they are deleted, so export them if you want to keep them on your blogs.
8 Fair use
Do not use Unmuter to publish content that is unlawful, misleading or infringing, to send spam, to impersonate someone, to attack or overload the service, to copy or reverse engineer it, or to resell it without our written permission. If this happens, or if content is unlawful, we may suspend access straight away, also before anything goes live. We tell you that we did, and why.
9 AI and results
Drafts are written with AI, and we write only from what your experts said. This is how we work, not a guarantee: AI can make mistakes. That is why every draft is a proposal that you check and approve before it goes live. Every blog says that its text was drafted with AI from the recording.
We do not promise rankings in Google, quotes by AI assistants, or a level of reach or engagement.
10 Who owns what
- You own your input and everything Unmuter makes from it: your published content, and also drafts you did not approve. You give us the right to use them only to provide Unmuter to you, for as long as that takes.
- We own Unmuter itself: the software, the WordPress plugin, our prompts, templates and way of working, and our design. During the agreement you may use them for your own business.
- We only name you as a customer, show your logo or use your content as an example with your written permission.
11 Confidentiality
We each keep confidential what we learn about the other that is clearly confidential, during the agreement and after it ends, without an end date.
12 Availability and support
We do our best to keep Unmuter available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not guarantee that it always works without interruption. Support is by email and WhatsApp, and we answer within one working day. There is no service level agreement.
13 Liability
- Our total liability is limited to direct damage and never exceeds the price of the current contract year, excluding VAT.
- We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue or damage to reputation, or for content you approved.
- These limits do not apply to damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness of our management.
- Report a claim to us within 12 months after you discovered the damage.
14 Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We tell you by email at least 30 days in advance. If a change is to your disadvantage and you do not agree, you may end the agreement before the change takes effect.
15 Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to the agreement. Foreign law and treaties do not apply, including the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (the Vienna Sales Convention). Only the Rechtbank Midden-Nederland (District Court of Central Netherlands), location Utrecht, may hear disputes that relate directly or indirectly to the agreement or to these terms.
